Juicing at Lu-Ma

Fresh juice provides us with minerals, vitamins, essential fatty acids, carbohydrates, proteins and much more. All of these factors are vital for maintaining good health. You will find that when you make fresh juice a daily part of your diet, you will have increased energy, a glowing complexion, strengthened immune system, stronger bones and a reduced risk of disease. Although eating fruits and vegetables in their natural state does provide us with a substantial amount of vitamins and minerals, we only obtain the maximum benefits from them when they are juiced. Much of their goodness is locked in the fibre which is expelled from the body. When we juice the fruits and vegetables, their goodness is released from the fibre and we are able to drink their highly concentrated nutrients which are then able to enter our bloodstream very quickly. Fibre is essential to health, so be sure to continue eating raw fruits, vegetables, legumes and whole grains in conjunction with fresh juices to gain the maximum amount of nutritional value from what you eat.

Lu-Ma uses a process where we cold press are juices, this way of juicing minimizes oxidization, whilst minerals, vitamins, enzymes and other nutritional essentials are extracted. Cold pressed juicing is a slow process, which takes time and patience, therefore it is necessary for us to bottle our juices making them available on demand. Our Norwalk juicer will slowly 'chew' the produce before the juice is extracted using a hydraulic press. Daily plan:

On rising: Drink water with a squeeze of lemon or lime (hot or cold water)

10AM- first juice

1PM- 2nd juice

4PM- 3rd juice

7PM- 4th and final juice of the day

Do’s, Don’ts and Tips

• If you are looking at loosing more weight it is recommending to do two 30 minutes work outs

per day.

• Once a day you can eat an “emergency” avocado, banana, small handful of berries

• Absolutely NO tea or coffee, you can however drink

Peppermint tea (or herbal teas) if you need to add a bit of

Manuka honey for sweetness. Chamomile tea with Manuka

is good to get you relaxed before bed.

• Try and get 8 hours sleep each night.
